Seasick
On Tuesday night when I was putting the kiddos to bed (cuz Mike was at work late), Hudson said the prayer. He started out with his usual please bless us that there won’t be any bad guys or silly guys in our dreams. Then I interrupted him and told him he needed to remember to be thankful for things and say those things first. So he starts off saying he is thankful for Fuzz and his whole family. Then he says please bless our family that we won’t ever ever be sick again. And please bless us that we won’t be seasick if we ever go out on a boat in the water.
I was like, where is he getting this from? Then he told me afterwards that he told his preschool teacher that when he was in my belly that we went on a boat and got seas sick. Not sure he heard that from, since it isn’t true but I had to laugh anyway. He says the most random things.

Playing Around
Hadley has finally become interested (a little) in playing with toys. She LOVES to play with dolls and wrap them up in their blankies.
Hudson loves to color…and cheese it up for the camera too! He wears his pjs all the time. He loves to put them on in the afternoon…he says he wants to wear his “comfy clothes.” He must be my kid!! haha
Hadley is OBSESSED with this Boise State shirt. She wears it to bed almost every night and wants to wear it everyday. She literally cries when it has to be washed. Guess we all have our favorite things!

Phone Pics
I was just cleaning off my phone and founds some random pics that made me smile.
Ever since Hadley has been potty trained, she insists on putting on her own underwear and pants. Sometimes she gets things a bit backwards.
She thought it was the coolest thing to wear these goggles.
I am not sure why the kiddos think it is a good idea to wear undies on their head like this. But they love to do it.
Huds has become a master at the monkey bars. He insists on having NO ONE touch him while he does it.
One day we chased around a hot air balloon and saw it land right by us. It was really cool.
Hudson will randomly come out wearing mine or Mike’s clothes and hats. He thinks its pretty hilarious.
Good times eating at BK and playing on the toys. Gotta remember that for the LONG winter months ahead!
Hadley made herself a bed in this tote my Mom had in her living room. She thought it was pretty clever!
The two kiddos waiting to leave to go camping. Hadley is only allowed her paci when she is “laying down” aka naptime or bedtime. She is so addicted to it…should have taken that away months ago. But now with the new baby, we will be waiting a bit longer.
Hudson and his oh so cool lady bug hat he made at preschool.

First Day of Preschool
We were lucky enough to find a great preschool really close by my Mom’s house. It literally takes me 3 or 4 minutes to drive there or we can walk there in about 15….probably would take less but I am totally fat and prego pushing two kids in a stroller! He goes Mondays and Wednesdays for 2 1/2 hrs. It is perfect!
Huds was so excited to start! He picked his clothes out and got dressed really fast that day!
Mostly I think he couldn’t wait to use his Lightning McQueen back pack. Yep, most of you that know me know I don’t really dig kid’s characters of any thing to wear but Huds was just so excited about this back pack. I figured this phase wouldn’t last for long and so Mike and I gave in!
Huds and Mike before Mike left for work
And here is a lovely shot of me prego with no makeup and Huds. But I couldn’t not have one of the two of us on this big day!! I didn’t cry and either did he. In fact, he really just wanted me to let him walk up on his own and show what a big boy he was!
He loves his class and his teacher and it is so nice to have a little one on one with Hadley. Although I must say, by the time he is done, I am so ready to have him back. Sometimes it is too quiet without him!

A few more pics
I failed to mention Hudson’s obsession with going down the pole which he can now do by himself. And with wanting to do the monkey bars. He has gone across them all by himself a ton of times now. He loves to see how “strong” he is.
Hadley loves to go down the slides. It seemed like there was a period there where all she talked about were tunnel slides but then she wouldn’t actually go down any slides. Now she is a slide maniac again.
Anywhere there is water, they want to be. They love throwing rocks and sticks in the Boise River.
These two kiddos have a funny love hate relationship. It is fun to watch them interact but not so much fun to break up the teasing/screaming that usually ensues. Huds is the master teaser and Hads has the loudest screams. I am glad they can play together though and keep each other entertained even for awhile!

You never know….
what you are going to get with the kiddos around. Huds is being “tall” here.
He and Hadley left their Sesame Street Characters in the garden area. Guess it was a surprise for Grammy.

Stars and Stripes
Better late than never on this 4th of July post!!! haha
Those poppers are just too much fun!
Look at how big those kiddos are getting!
Mike gets a gold star on his chart for being best Dad of the day. He took the kiddos to buy fireworks, then to a park, and then out to lunch.
They made friends just about each place they went cuz these little kiddos cannot stop talking to people everywhere we go.
Action shot of Huds ready to fire those poppers!
This mommy appreciated a quiet morning with some designing and some sewing. The perfect start to a great day!
Love this family of red, white and blue!!
My sweet little happy Hadder Hoo
Huds and Grandma gearing up for the “big” fireworks show. haha
Huds trying to see if he can out shriek the fireworks.
Grand finale….not quite the show it could have been if it was dark but hey, Huds needed to get in bed.
