Hadders walked her first 3-4 steps on June 27th. And today she is up to about 6-8. YAY! I love when they start walking. Such a fun stage!! She loves to just practice between 2 of us and walk back and forth, back and forth. She gets so excited and so does Hudson! Maybe I can get her on video soon.

Towers
Hudson is obsessed with making towers with blocks and these funny shaped guys. He makes some really tall ones. This isn't his tallest by any means but he wanted me to post pictures of him with his tower. So here it is. Oh, and of course, a funny face. He can't stop making faces.

Happy Independence America!!
We had a great 4th of July. We headed down to SLC Thursday. We were so glad we were able to see Mike's sister and her hubby before they went to NYC. I went to lunch at Cafe Rio with my old college roomies but completely spaced getting a picture. (What was I thinking?!!!) I was able to read the short story of Bree Tanner (part of the Twilight series). So good...oh I forgot to say that Mike and I went to see it the day it came out with my mom and step-dad. It was SO good.
Then Saturday, I was able to meet up with an old co-worker Sara for breakfast. It was so good to see her and get caught up. Miss being able to talk to her like I used to.
Saturday afternoon we were able to get together with most of Mike's fam (who were also in SLC for the weekend) for a picnic.
Hudson had fun with his Grandma.
Hadley was enamored with Amanda's glasses.
Hudson and Hadley were rolling around on the grass as Huds was "tackling" her.
Hadley crawled all over the grass. Cute little thing!
Mike and his brother Nate were wrestling each other. All of his brothers are such 'big' boys when they get around each other. They have such a good time together.
Some water games...Huds was getting in on that action.
This is my sweet niece, Hannah, who just completed her last chemo session for bone cancer. We are SO grateful she is doing so well. She is an inspiration for us all.
We also checked out the fireworks up by the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. We could see all the shows across the valley, it was beautiful! Then we came home Sunday and played games with my fam that night. So awesome to see so much family while we are here for the summer!

Take me out...
Huds is obsessed with baseball. I always thought it would be somewhat from Mike's love of the game. But this is all Hudson. He always wants to get these balls and have us pitch them to him and he will hit them one after another.
He is really good and actually doesn't miss them very often. He is always saying different things about baseball and initiates wanting to play it all the time.
Guess Mike will have his fun at a boy that loves baseball as much as he does.

Tramp Boy
Huds is obsessed with the tramp. He made me get on it with him.
I had fun taking some super silly pics of him.
His faces are always cracking me up.
Mr. Expressions
Couldn't resist this one!
This is where you can find Hudson at my mom's house. Playing in the dirt outside for HOURS!!
Mike and Huds are always goofing off outside too.
I couldn't do a post without a picture of Hadley. Those lips.

Ridin' Along
One thing that I love about Boise is that everyone is always riding their bikes around. You literally can't drive down a street and at least see a biker or two out and about. I love this about the city.
We joined in the fun a few weekends back and took the kiddos out. Hudson just loves it. Hadley liked it for awhile but then her helmet kept slipping over her face and she was not real happy about it. By the time we got home, she seemed to like it better when her face was covered with the helmet than when it wasn't. Go figure. Either way, it was a lot of fun and it is always nice to get outside and ride around such a beautiful city.

Drinkin' it all in
Back in June, we took the kids swimming. Well, I guess technically we had them go swimming in the backyard. This is Hads in her too cute two piece.
This is her first reaction to the water:
It was ice cold though.
But as soon as she figured out she could put her hand in the water and "drink" it, she was all about being in the pool. Even got mad at us when we took her out of it later. She will eat anything and everything at all times. She cracks me up.
Here she is splashing too. Doesn't bother her at all.
Looks like someone is about to be taken down.
Hudson was loving it. Two water kiddos. They could live and breathe it if we would let them! That and playing outside.

Dairy Days
We went to the Dairy Days Parade back on June 18th. I am SO behind with blogging. I wish I had the desire to do more of it to just finish it up but I don't. So it will come slowly but surely.
Huds was playing around on the grass while we were waiting for the parade.
Haddy and her daddy chillin' with a snack
Love this smile.
Huds was excited that this tractor "that looks like Frank" was driving right by us.
Some parade music.
Candy gettin' stuffed in his mouth.
Hadley gettin' in on the string cheese action they were passing around at the parade.
Thought his green "nose" was too cute!
What a cute toothy smile.
Hudson with his cousins and friend watching the parade.
Grandma L gettin Haddy's arm.
Chocolate milk being passed out too. Along with the ice cream it is the best parade goodies!!
Loved this muddy truck.
Huds and me near the end of the parade.
Dirty face...but all in all it was a great parade!
