Well Hudson is here! I have been pretty preoccupied and trying to get caught up on other things and taking care of him that I haven't been able to update this. Although it was on my list of things to do everyday! We just absolutely love Hudson! He is adorable, even in the middle of the night when he wakes up! We enjoy him and can already see some of his personality coming out. I think he is going to be a trickster just like his dad.
Mike and him are inseparable whenever they can be. I have caught a few of those moments on camera and thought they would be fun to share.

Hudson is literally sucking on Mike's nose, it was pretty cute!

The last one is of Mike and Hudson watching their first baseball game together. I think Hudson must be upset because the Braves are losing or maybe because the Yankees are winning as Mike would say!!

Apparently both Dad and Hudson are exhausted after the past week's visitors and delivery! They had it rough!!
Well the labor and delivery was hard but it was bearable. I did it au naturale because I wanted to try and do it. I figured I could and although I almost gave in a few times, I managed to stick it out! I was pacing around the room so fast the nurse said later she didn't even realize how short I was! I thought that was pretty funny! I woke up April 16th, Monday morning at 2:45 am with contractions and we headed to the hospital around 7:30am which then we had to pace the halls for two hours until I got far along enough to be admitted. He was born at 3:41 pm and weighed 7 pounds 3 ounces and was 20 inches long. He gave us a scare at the beginning and got admitted to NICU that night because his respiratory levels were around the 140s and they are supposed to be between 30 and 60. We were pretty nervous but Mike and Ray gave him a blessing and by the morning, his chest xrays showed no more meconium (which apparently he had aspirated) and he was being hydrated with an IV. So we had to wait for them to wean him from that IV and the nurses wanted to make sure he was eating properly. We were so grateful to have him released from NICU about 24 hours later and be able to take him home with us when we left. The whole experience was amazing. It was an emotional rollercoaster but it was well worth it! He is more and more fun everyday!

Mom and Hudson after delivery...mom's hair is matted down from all the wet washcloths she kept begging dad for during delivery to keep cool!

Hudson loves to squawk and has a girlish scream! Its so funny. He sneezes a ton and gets the hiccups alot but its pretty cute. He doesn't like to get his diaper changed and man, you better watch out because a lot of people have gotten sprayed by him already! He loves getting baths and loves to be held tight. He loves to sleep next to you and hates sleeping by himself in his bassinet. He does love his swing and the water sounds seem to soothe him! He is a keeper!
