Where am I??

I know I have been slacking over here on this blog. It really has not been intentional. I have a HUGE list of posts that I need to catch up on. I just have not had ANY time to do it.

Some time in March I had the random idea to start making PDF patterns to sell on Etsy. I love creating/designing clothing and this seemed like the perfect outlet. I didn’t really know if it would take off or not….but I am SO happy to say it has!!

My store is Hadley Grace Designs (after my own little redhead!).

I have stuff for guys and gals and even a few in the works for Moms! These are just a few of the things I have in the shop:

I am having a blast selling these on Etsy and 3 or 4 other websites. I have some AWESOME stuff in the works right now too. I cannot wait for it to all come about…new designs and a few other fun things too!The best part about this is that I spend as much (or as little) time as I want on this and I only sew when I feel like it!

Anyway, the reason I am posting this is just so you know why I am a COMPLETE slacker on this blog!!

Hadley Grace Designs is fun to do but I am getting back into my blog posts too so hopefully there will be more on here soon!!

Oh, and we have a facebook page here too if you want to go check it out.

Grandma’s 80th

027

My Grandma turned 80 a few weeks ago and we had a surprise get together for her.

028

Everyone waiting for cake haha

030

One of her birthday cakes.

031My mom is the oldest and she got the “honors” of having to cut the cake. Glad my Grandma could turn 80 and so glad we could all get together to celebrate!

I remember a few fun trips going with my Grandma down to Mesquite for a family reunion. I also went and stayed with her for a week or so in Pocatello when she lived there. Fun times like those with Grandma, you never forget!

Sliding In

009

This is Hudson’s newest cousin, Tanner. He is such a cutie and it is so fun because he is only about 3 weeks younger than Hudson. He came over to my mom’s to play one day and they decided to put the pool at the end of the slide.

016

Hadley loves the water just as much as Hudson.

019

Hudson taking a turn….

024

Miss Hadley caught in the act. We were busy preparing stuff for the wedding the day before while she snuck in and got some treats for herself!

Hats

Hadley LOVES her hats. She will wear hats and sunglasses anytime….headbands, not so much!

002

Swimming Boy

011

Hudson took swimming lessons for a few weeks in June. He absolutely LOVED it!! I am amazed at what a water boy this kid is.

014

He would always love jumping into the water.

005

He loves doing the back float and the front float. By the end, he was able to do them by himself….and now he does the back float in the bath everytime!

001

Sometimes after lessons, he would come over here to play.

008

He loved the baby slides…..

039

But he loved the big one even more!! He went down it all by himself 3 or 4 times on his last swimming day lessons.

My Dad’s 60th

004

My Dad turned 60 this year. Kind of crazy to think he is “that old” but he is. He doesn’t really look that old though. Guess thinking you are still young really does pay off.

006

We had a small shindig here with his fam. Here are my grandparents with my kiddos.

009

My oldest brother Bry and Mike posing for me. What good boys!

016

You can’t have a birthday without some of that goodness.018

Or some of that cold stuff either.

027

If you haven’t tried a Fizz yet, you should. They are amazing. Even I like them and I can’t stand rootbeer floats usually.

024

You gotta have a cake…or in my dad’s case, a pie. Each candle is representing a decade. We went easy on the ol’ guy!

035

Bry and his new cute wife, Amee.

060

Tanner(Amee’s little guy) playing up some festivities at the end with Huds. They both were being launched in the air to get the Over the Hill balloon. I am pretty sure that was the highlight of their whole evening.
