Both kiddos loved trick or treating and came back with a lot of loot…Mike and I enjoyed the 2 full sized candy bars each kiddo got. Trick or treating is the best!!!

Already?

Maycee1 month

Yep, this little lady is already 1 month old. How crazy is that? Time flies.

Miss Maycee:

I love that you have a dark haired balding man’s hairdo.

I love that you smile and coo at me.

I love that your eyes are (most likely) going to stay blue.

I love how your eyes get all wild looking when your crazy siblings are hovering a bit too close.

I love your skinny little legs.

I love that you are a great sleeper and eater.

I love that you like to stick your arm straight up in the air and leave it there when you stretch.

I love that you (according to Hudson) have the longest toots he has ever heard. I would have to agree though!

I love that even though you kiddos now outnumber us, you are TOTALLY worth it!!

The patch.

006

We went to our first Pumpkin Patch in Idaho this year.

010

It did not disappoint.

020

There were the fun photo ops.

And of course, a play place filled with corn. Hadley couldn’t help but try and eat some. She is the best eater…just didn’t really want her munching down on that.

168

And of course, the hayride where we got to pick out pumpkins straight from the patch!

We also did have some amazing donuts there and some other yummy snacks. This is going to continue to be a yearly tradition. Glad you found such a great pumpkin patch!157

Mmmm still want some more of those donuts. I did try this churro recipe though that I found on pinterest. Oh, and this cookie dough dip too. Hello.  Hello. No wonder I can’t seem to lose more weight. haha

Miss Maycee

Maycee2

I sure love this little girl. I relish the times alone with her. I think even more than I did with Hadley.  Maybe it is because the older two are so loud and crazy, the quiet alone times are few and far between. It makes me remember each of them at this age and think back to life in law school or wherever we were at the time.

Here is her “official” announcement…(I will be mailing a few out to family so check for yours in the mail)

Blog

(I also took our last name off…just cuz)

We will be blessing her the Sunday after Thanksgiving if y’all want to join us. I will send out details in an email/mail. Better hurry and finish up her dress. Scratch that. Better hurry up and start her dress.

Sleepy Baby

005

Maycee is a great sleeper. But her favorite places to sleep are on our bed or in someone’s arms.

004

She slept for about 5 hours straight one night last week. It was pure bliss.

First Bath

001

The first bath at home is always a moment to remember.

003

All of our kiddos so far have loved getting their head scrubbed with the brush with soapy water.

006

They also love getting their head rinsed. Oh, the joy of having your hair done!

009

Then comes the moment after where they must be cold, sick of the bath or just want to be held:

015

That is my cue to end the bath. I just love newborn faces.
